The New Museam of New York is showing since February 25th and until May 24th, the third  edition of  its recurring international exhibit: 2015 TRIENNIAL-SURROUND AUDIENCE.

This show, signature initiative of the museum,is known by being the most important show in the city devoted to new artists, and by the aim of showing the “arts glass perspective” of society. This year co-curated by New Museum Curator Lauren Cornell and artist Ryan Trecartin.

“Surround Audience” shows the effects of the current globalized and web connected society and the effects that this phenomenon has caused in the way we interact,in parallel to the new approaches of art and the interaction that we are starting to play with it and how are we heading the future.

Fifty-one  plastic artists, poets performers and dancers have worked around looking towards the future and questioning about how are we going to manage topics as self-image and privacy, the right of opting out, bypassing, or social activism that the current Social Media channels have changed dramatically.
